NøffNøff BBQ was founded in 2002 with Norwegian roots that carried the spirit of the longhouse and the longship across the sea — bringing Viking fire, meat, and open-handed hospitality to regional burns and events.
For more than two decades, our crew has fed the masses, created fellowship, and slung drinks at events in the best Viking style. Massive tables groaning with food, a mead hall that never runs dry, and the red, white, and blue flag of Norway flying high over every fire.

This is where it all started in Gore, VA. Back in 2002 at SoundQuilt we met the band Ubiquitone — and the rest is history. The Norwegian flags have been flying here ever since.

The summer raid of the Brrrly crew. Same longship discipline for great food and better drinks under the trees of Pennsylvania. Shade structures, cold horns, hot grills.

At our events, the NøffNøff Vikings run the drinks. We serve excellent and unique cocktails, shots, and Norwegian aquavit. Our resident drink slinger only works with top-shelf liquors, which is why everything has become legendary. Black Shit is our one rail drink, and it’s infamous for good reason. Look for Gløgg or Colonial Tea in the winter, and boozy snow cones when the sun’s out.
The NøffNøff Vikings are always looking for good shield-brothers and sisters who want to chop wood, tend the fire, flip meat, wash horns, and stay up too late telling stories under the stars.
